Community Managers Must Avoid: 4 Hitler's Tips on Ruining Communities

Despite his acclaimed responsibility for the genocide of Jewish communities in World War II era, the Führer is very much admired for his leadership. It is still pretty amazing how this guy can turn a democratic Germany into the most feared fascist nation under his political skills and goals . Personally, I wonder whether it was his mustache or it was just he owned such a remarkable leadership mentality. I guess it goes both of them: with the great mustache, comes great personality.

However like any other dictatorship, it did not last forever. Anyway, who likes dictatorship? In 1939, Carl Jung met Hitler and Mussolini in Berlin and observed their interactions. Personality psychologists Coolidge and Segal from the University of Colorado write that “Jung said Hitler never laughed, and it appeared as if Hitler was sulking and in a bad mood. Jung viewed him as sexless and inhuman, with a singleness of purpose: to establish the Third Reich, a mystical all-powerful German nation, which would overcome all of Hitler’s perceived threats and previous insults in Germany’s history.” Hitler inspired in Jung only fear. By contrast, Mussolini apparently came off to Jung as an “original man,” who had “warmth and energy.” Based on the study, Coolidge and Segal hypothesized a “big six” constellation of personality disorders that may commonly reflect the personalities of dictators more generally: sadistic, antisocial, paranoid, narcissistic, schizoid, and schizotypal.

If Hitler is still alive (which Jews, Polish, and French wish he is not) and he actively engages in community developments, here are some "DO tips" that he will share in a dictatorial community managers gathering. Imagine the conversations are in German. In fact, for more dramatic effects, I strongly support you to read them with music background. Any song, maybe the Tschinga Tschanga Bummtara song. Whatever.

1) Legitimate and maintain your power
"Every leader must have power to manage his community as many leaders even read books about my leadership style. And they just crush it! So for the best result, you must be lacking in respected morals and a relationship with your followers! Just be public enemy and hate everyone that tries to collaborate with you. Even if they offer it, you are the one who must take in charge for EVERYTHING. Remember, power is everything. You live in and breathe the power. Power is your friend. I speak based on my experience, nobody wanted to be my friend so I know how it feels to have the only best thing in your life"

2) Trust no one, just hate everyone
"That kind girl in your group? Hate her! That new nerd guy sits next to you? Trust him not. For he will only steals your leadership authority. That's what I did when that Jewish girl said that she loved me"

3) Empathy is nonsense
"What was that you said? You must have empathy and make friends with your followers? What are you? Jesus?"

4) It's all about YOU
"In wrap, I just want to tell you the future leaders... that leadership is ALL about YOU. Do not listen or try to create a two-way communication with your team. That is a waste of time! Ich verstehe nicht, warum der Mensch nicht sein sollte genauso grausam wie die natur!!!"

No, do not translate it in English. It will lose its meaning.
